Though it hasn't changed much it still reamins the best football managing game. The transfer market is the best i've come across and very importantly it is easy to find your way round the game when i got my first LMA game in 2002 i easily knew what to do and it hasnt been any different since. Another great reason to the game is the addition of the english conference, so i can finaly play as Barnet Fc on my xbox.
Overal it is a great game, the match engine (alough improved)isnt too good but its a managing game so it doesnt really matter!

Well i bouight this game very recently thinking it looked worth the price (less than amazon wants for it), but have to say i'm actually rather disappointed.

The match engine looks good from what i could see from the long distance shot i gave me, so not too good in other words.

The transfer market element is really, well... compared with the champ manager series, or better still football manager 2005, this can only rate as p*** poor. The fact you cannot negotiate a price, only reject or accept is nonsense. Then you got the farce known as negotiating there contracts as well. plus only 20000 players, i used to 250000

The menu is horrid to use unless your a hardened veteran of the game, and i'm not... took me an hour to find out how to progress with the game!

best elements are the tactics options and the scouts you have at your disposal, theere reports are very good actually. Being able to custom design your own stadium as well is ind of fun, though it is implemented rather oddly...

Currently i can't really advsie either way on this game, if it suddernly improves greatly, i will more than happily write and update to this review, but currently, doesn't warrant anything other than a low 3 stars. I'll end postively though which may surprise some, i can see why the game is rated highly and where its merits are

Again pretty much the improved 04 with not much changes apart from the updated stats and transfer options. a great game easy to use play and gives hours of fun. the xbox version is much faster than the ps2 version.
