Anyone playing this (assuming they are old enough of course) will be reminded of the good old days of the megadrive, in particular a set of games called Micro Machines. This is the same type of top down view with added bonuses such as weapons and an excellent multiplayer mode. Worth a purchase as its a lot of fun :)

This game gets away from all those other typical kart-style racers. It's really fresh. These developers have really pulled it off! The games graphics and controls are perfect. Weapons are cool! Even when you lay down an oil slick you can further scorch it with fire so that other drivers cars will get burned when they go over it. I got this game for christmas and I haven't put it down. Definitely by far my favorite racing game in my collection! Oh, the helicopter is cool!
