Unless you live very near an arcade, Pinball machines are hard to come by, what with pubs now preferring ATM's, plasma screens and quiz machines which is why I was inspired to buy this compendium of Old school Pinball tables. The gameplay is surprisingly good on about 3 of the tables, but the rest seem to be designed to frustrate the gamer/pinballer. But it all depends on your deftness and experience when 'flippin'. Great to play against your friends every so often without spending an obscene amount of money slotting coins in..which is enough in itself.
Hardly groundbreaking in the gaming world, this is nevertheless a good fun way to pass a bit of time with good graphics and with very realistic ball physics. The best thing is the engineer won't turn up mid-game to repair it, thus kicking you off. And you don't have to be shoved into the corner of some dank bar with piped music or big screen sport distracting you while you play.
