This is her first season of 'Ellen', which used be on Channel four, yonks ago.
This series is very funny, for the fans who have followed her since this debut then you probably already own this. For new fans, then i highly recommend that you buy all the seasons, as they do get better with age, so to speak.
Ellen is one funny lady, and im sad that her show was axed just because she came out of the closet....

the reason that the show was dropped was because the homophobes at HBO wanted NOTHING to do with Ellen after she came out of the closet.

Don't be misled by the above comment. Ellen's brilliant!

Ellen is a hillarious show. Its fresh, funny and a laugh out loud sitcom. It was once one of america's highest rated sitcoms and then Ellen came out of the closet as did her character. The figures dropped and it was canceled. But dont hold it against her. This is funny. BUY IT!!!
