5.0 out of 5 stars Gorgeous, 6 Aug 2004
As I head into my 30s, my singles-buying has been dwindling. I haven't bought a single since... no idea. Not this past year. Probably a couple of years. Anyway, I caught this on 6Music and fell in love with it immediately - I'm a sucker for the Wall of Sound sound, and when it gets immitated it makes me feel all happy inside. And Johnny Boy (with James Dean Bradfield at the controls) have hit the nail so perfectly on the head it hurts. Achingly good - Phil Spector himself would be proud. And the firework sound effects are the greatest.

If only quality pop like this could compete with the manufactured nonsense we get inflicted with on mainstream radio and TV, the world would be a far better place. Trust me, it's true.

4.0 out of 5 stars Why did this not get more airplay, 28 April 2005
By A Customer
If you have any method of getting hold of this song then do it. Buy, steal, download, it doesn't matter. Then when you get it, remind your self that this song is from this decade. Produced by James Dean Bradfield of the Manic Street Preachers, this is a record of such depth and fantastic production, Phil Spector would have been proud. Indeed it does have an early-Spectorish feel to it but that is a compliment if any. It will brighten up your day to no end the first time you hear it, unless you then try to figure out the lyrics
