4.0 out of 5 stars Very good, but..., 29 April 2005
This is a great RPG game with three very good characters. There is also the appearance of Drizzt do'Urden in one of the chapters. But... there are only TEN chapters and each of these chapters are quite short. The story line is very well developed and would get a 5 star rating if it weren't that i compleated the game in 2 days and i am NOT a good player.

It is worth buying but not if you want a Final Fantasy long game.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best RPG out there!, 26 Aug 2005

(REAL NAME)
The reason I bought this game is because I am a dungeons and dragons fan, and am hooked on any RPG.
You don't need any knowledge or experience of Dungeons and Dragons in order to enjoy this game, in fact in some parts of the game its better if you don't!
The basic format of the game is similar to the Lord of the Rings games from EA, so it is more hack'n slash than RPG. This makes it more exciting! The graphics are superb, and the moves that you can do are far better than those in the Lord of the Rings series eg. as the rogue you can swing round an enemey's neck with your two daggers to kill him.
The storyline by R.A. Salvatore is very good, and you get to really feel for the characters as they have to journey through Faerun.
The story of Demon Stone revolves around the adventuring party's unwitting intrusion into an age-old conflict between two warring demonic armies; one led by a Githyanki Princess and, the other, a Slaad Lord. After inadvertently releasing both demons back upon the world after eons of imprisonment, it becomes the adventurer's quest to right their wrong and restore order to the world of Faerun.
All in all this is a very good game and recommended for all ages, especially for the kids - it will keep them busy for days!

4.0 out of 5 stars Great game, really enjoyed, 17 May 2005
By A Customer
Great game, the visuals are really good and the story line well scripted. I was only disappointed when the action stopped. The stage at the castle was amazing, with interaction with a 4th character. Has good sequel prospects with an open ending and I played non stop. Typical of many RPG's around at the moment (Return of the King, X-men legends slightly) and a good storyline keeps you hooked. Well tested and tried formula that will please most fans of the genre
