Join the DVD revolution with the Starlogic multi-region DVD player. Ideal as a starter machine for those looking for a feature-packed DVD player or as a second player for the bedroom, the Starlogic is hard to beat. Offering outstanding value for money, the slimline Starlogic measures just 360 x 50 x 250 mm (W/H/D) and will playback any DVD purchased from anywhere in the world, straight out of the box.

This stylish player is more than just a DVD player as it includes JPEG and MP3 picture and music CD/DVD support. The player is also compatible with the following CD media: DVD, SVCD, VCD, CD Audio, CD-G, HD-CD, MP3 and JPEG images stored on CD-R/CD+R media. Although not mentioned in the product manual, the Starlogic will also playback DVD+R/+RW and DVD-R/-RW dics.

The user manual, although quite short, is very easy to understand and gives you clear guidance on which audio/video setup gives the best results. The full-function remote control allows you to access all of the player's options/features including zoom, multi-angle, volume up/down as well as all the standard DVD playback controls. Around the back of the player you'll find a vast array of video/audio connections including component, S-video and SCART for video as well as coaxial and optical sockets for audio.

    When I saw the price for this item I was somewhat sceptical as to what tat I would get, but I took a chance and ordered one. It arrived within two days and I have to say I WAS SURPRISED how well the system performs. In fact I have ordered two more to give to my sons for Christmas presents. I particularly like the ability to play back my Digital photographs from both DVD and CD. My recommendation - don't delay buy one to-day. Brilliant value for money

    I brought this player specifically to play some region 1 dvds. It arrived 3 working days later.
    I connected the scart lead, plugged it in, and pressed the "go" button. It played. Instantly. No setting up, no channel changing. No messing about at all. Excellent.
    It also played:- Region 2 dvds, audio, mpeg4, in fact every cd I could find!
    In short, Highly Recommended.

    I wanted a reasonably priced multi-region DVD player, and considered £29.99 VERY reasonable. I was sceptical at first, but all the reviewers seemed to be happy, so what the hell, I ordered it. Not only did it turn up in 2 days . . yes, 2 days . . but it works brilliantly - plays all my region 1/2/3 DVDs no problem. Want some good advice . . . BUY ONE.
