One word for the CD, AWSOME!! a must have for any lion king fan or just anyone as the variety of songs on it are enough to please everyone!

This CD is a joke. I purchased it hoping for some of the instrumental score to be included, but life never works that way, does it?
It's all of the songs from the film including a nice cover of We Are One by Angelique Kidjo and an awful pop cover of Love Will Find a Way by a pair of obscure singers who you'll probably never have heard of.
The cover art looks like it was doodled by a 10 year old (Photoshop 7 grass brush? Are you having me on!? That's just tacky), but that's just how Disney is these days.
This CD is nicely presented (puke-worthy cover art aside), but if you're a fan of The Lion King then you'll probably have all of these songs already.
But if you don't have them, I guess it would be nice for entertaining children on car journeys or some such thing.

Songs are cheerful and uplifting, just like on the film. Track 1 personally makes me think of my religious views - and I find this good to listen to when I'm finding life difficult. The whole album just fills you up with good will and cheer and makes the day feel better and easier to deal with.
