The ergonomically designed SD-P1400 features a 7" widescreen TFT LCD. The player is conveniently slim and features a redesigned battery pack. Additional features include multi-disc compatibility and a JPEG Viewer, several zoom modes and 3-D virtual surround sound. For added portability, this full-featured model includes a 3.5-hour rechargeable Lithium Ion battery and comes complete with a DC car cord.

    Took delivery of dvd player this morning and have to say am impressed with size, weight and style. Owners manual simple and easy to follow - even for a techno phobia like me. Kids will absolutely love this when in the car or on holiday. Everything you need is supplied although it could have come with two sets of head phones aswell. A number to order a spare battery wouldn't go amiss either. Carry bag perfect size with plenty of room for all the necessary accessories and room to spare and yet extremely compact. All in all I'm delighted with my purchase!

    This Is The Quote From What Hi-FI September 2005 after they had reviewed all the latests Portable DVD players on the market!

    A great price, good looks and excellent performance make this Toshiba the pick of the test by far!!

    There are no traces of pixelation or bleeding even in hectic scenes.

    Now That I am convinced I am going to by two!!! One For Me And One For The misses! Was going to buy a MP3 player but then I thought why do this when I can burn all my mp3's onto a couple of DVD's and then use this to listen to them. Then if I want to watch a film I can just use this as well. Perfect solution!!!!! Thanks Toshiba!!!!

    Perfectly happy with this product , there are quite a few on offer now at this price level but i would prefer to go for a more well known brand name for peace of mind . My one qualm and i dont know if this is just my one or all of them is the start up noise when the disc is spinning up to speed . It sounds like the coming of the apocalypse , the end of the world , ok thats a bit of an exageration but it is very noisy indeed , so much so i first thought the machine must be broken , however once in its stride it operated at a perfectly acceptable level .
