The Lady Wants to Know is Gordon Haskell's new album and the real follow up to his gold album Harry's Bar from 2002 which included the number 2 single "How Wonderful You Are", the surprise hit of the preceding year which was almost the Xmas chart topper thanks to mega support from BBC Radio 2 and the great British public rushing out to buy some 400,000 copies of it. The new album was produced by Hamish Stuart of the Average White Band, loved by soul funk fans in the late 70s and known to younger fans around the world from his stint with Paul McCartney on his world tour. On Gordon's new album Hamish is joined by fellow band member Robbie Macintosh--now playing with current media darling Norah Jones--and the cream of Britain's real musicians
