Let the landings begin! D-Day drops players into the role of the Allied forces in the final drive to liberate Europe. Throughout three campaigns and 12 missions in single player mode, D-Day challenge players to prepare troops for battle, create combat strategies, and execute one of the largest military invasions in history. Players must successfully plan and execute the turning points in the liberation of Europe: the first hours of the beach landing at Omaha Beach, the paratrooper attack on Sainte Mère Eglise, the taking of the Cherbourg harbour, operation Cobra, the battle of the Falaise pocket, through to the eventual liberation of Normandy in August 1944.

Just as DR Vs AK was overlooked by the gaming masses, this new game by Digital Jesters too seems to have been left in the wake of other WW2 RTS'.
At the sharp end of some reviews this series (soon to find it self part of a trilogy), is nonetheless and excellent game, crafted with passion for the subject matter, created with thought and presented with flair.Despite what you may have read the gameplay retains great balance between those untangible elements of realism, playability and simple fun.
In short the game looks great, it plays well and treats the subject matter with respect, and whats more you may well come away from this game knowing a lot more about some hugly important events in WW2. Don't miss out !

This is one of the best ww2 games on the market.
It has a great graphics engine that finish's it with a realistic look.
It gives a brilliant view of what dday would have been like.
YOU SHOULD GET THIS GAME!
