I was at the recording of the Discomania show and went there purely to see the queen of Disco, Donna Summer. She performed the 2 songs featured here; 'Enough is enough' with Westlife, and the 'Donna Summer megamix' (comprising 'Hot stuff', 'Bad girls' and sprinklings of 'I feel love' and 'Love to love you baby' with a contemporary feel) as well as 'McArthur Park' and 'Last dance' which unfortunately were missed out here. It was an amazing performance showcasing her rich, powerful vocals.

Onto the other songs, they are generally covers of disco classics by contemporary UK acts. Standouts include 'If I can't have you' by Jamelia, 'It's raining men' By Geri, 'Can you feel it' by new boyband V (who gave a brilliant, energetic performance that night), 'Fresh' (originally done by Kool & the Gang, and done here by them and Liberty X) and 'Sunny'(originally done by Boney M) to name a few.

Listening to this cd brings back a flood of great memories, both of the recording, and of the days when disco ruled.

I watched this show on the tv the other night and it was amazing for people who like music from the disco era this is deffinetly a must for you to get, some of the hottest talent around these days coming together to rework this classic songs

OMG How to kill disco,This has to be the worst recording i have ever heard it starts with westlife taking on Barbra Strisand`s part of no more tears (Enough really IS Enough with them on the track),Then Gradually gets worse,The vocals on most of the tracks except the jamelia take on if i cant have you are weak even a Donna Summer megamix Cant save this cd,if your after disco buy the ministry of sounds disco classics if your after a poor mans take on disco then buy this.
