This game is long, hard and challenging. Its fun with 80 missions and lots of bosses BUT there is one HUGE problem and its the graphics- They're terrible. Its PS1 graphics! This means pixel view. No 3D like NO1. And the awful camera! What went wrong Koei? The Naval ops series gets ruined by a random and frankly rubbish sequel to a good game. Stick with NO1 and get its true parnter PTO 4. Leave NO2 because it is a rip of cheaply done verson of PTO. PTO which is a lot better is great with NO1 but dont bother with N02.

I played this game for a whole week straight when I was ill and thoroughly enjoyed it. Returned to it about a year later and although it takes a while to get reaqquainted with the game it still held it's old charm.

Strong Points:
- Designing your own ships is awesome.
- There are so many different ship parts you can spend a year unlocking them all and there are almost infinite design combinations.
- This game is LONG, lots of value for money time-wise.

Weak Points:
- Slow ships make missions take forever near the beginning of the game.
- Poor in-game graphics
- Sound could be better!
