    I got this from Amazon for over £10 cheaper than in the shops. I have already noticed that my hair is much less frizzy and flyaway when dried. In addition, my hair appears to be in much better condition too.

    The dryer is nice and light with a good, long cord.

    If you don't want to use the ionic setting, you can turn it off, which is great. Buy one!

    After trying two other "Ionic" hairdryers I have seen advertised on TV, this Braun one has finally done the job. My friends all agreed that the Ionic hairdryers were just a load of marketing hogwash, and I nearly went for the standard dryer, but I'm glad I decided on this new Braun Ionic, it really does reduce the friz and my hair is in perfect condition for straightening after drying

    This hairdryer is really wonderful. It is my third ionic hairdryer and by far the best one.
    Firstly, the settings are simple to use - so are the others you say - but this one has more heat settings, etc. to choose from for your individual needs.
    Secondly, you don't accidentally move the control switches while using the hairdryer, as was the case with my other two. A boon for someone, who like me, was forever moving the setting controls by simple basic handling of the hairdryer.
    Thirdly, the cold blast of air actually blasts out cold air - not warm air.
    This review just covers the basic working of the hairdryer. If you haven't used an ionic hairdryer before, there really is a difference between an ordinary hairdryer and an ionic one. If you have used an ionic hairdryer before - you'll know all the good points of using ionic and understand what I say about the controls.
    All in all, this is a lovely looking hairdryer, and does exactly what it says on the box!!
