JCB CSK4880 Cordless Screwdriver Kit

In striking JCB yellow and black livery, the versatile JCBD-CSK4880 is a cordless screwdriver and comprehensive 80-piece accessory set. There is an attachment for almost every type of screw, plus socket attachments for nuts and bolt heads too. This cordless screwdriver will take the strain out of all of those laborious tasks, delivering ‘more power to your elbow’.

Supplied in a compact carry-storage case, which houses all of the accessories, it can be easily stored in a convenient place at home; under the sink, under the stairs, in a cupboard or the garage. The case also folds out if you unclasp the locking flaps, this allows you to lay it out flat on a worktop or table and see clearly the abundance of attachments available for use. Everything you need in one case.

The screwdriver is rechargeable, inside its' tactile soft grip rubber handle is a 4.8 Volt Ni-Cad battery pack. You simply plug the charger lead supplied into the socket on the handle and switch on the charger; much like the way you charge up your mobile phone, simple. A charge time of 3 to 5 hours will be required to get you going. Once charged the built-in Johnson motor turns the shaft with either driver bit or socket attached. The screwdriver has forward and reverse settings, both activated by the large easily accessible main switch. This makes the screwdriver suitable for driving in screws or removing them, tightening up nuts or bolt heads and also loosening them.

When you hold the driver in your hand you will notice the comfortable rubber soft grip handle, designed to prevent the screwdriver slipping from your grasp whilst in use. There is also a wrist strap integrated into the base of the handle, which will if wrapped around your wrist will ensure that the JCBD-CSK4880 is always at hand. More importantly it will stop the screwdriver from falling to the floor if dropped. If you need to work in a confined access area, for example in a tight corner under a sink, then move the quick click adjustable handle and the screwdriver converts from a conventional ‘in-line position’ to an angled head, This is perfect when working in any limited space.

If you want to use the driver manually the JCBD-CSK4880 has an auto spindle lock, so it can work as a good ‘old fashioned’ hand powered screwdriver.

The built-in bright LED light will also prove invaluable when working in darker conditions; perhaps the inside of a kitchen cupboard or the back of a wardrobe.

There is a selection of eighty accessories supplied with the screwdriver. These are all housed inside the carry-storage case and sit in removable pods. There are slotted, cross point, Pozidriv, Hex, Square and Torx Driver Bits in a variety of sizes. Making up the compliment of the accessories are nine sockets-nut drivers, in metric sizes from 5mm to 13mm.
