5.0 out of 5 stars great review of a great tournament, 10 Nov 2004
I was so pleased when I watched this for the first time. It not only shows all the goals and the significant action from each game, but has a wee introductory bit for each game, so you remember the significance at the time.

Unless you're an England fan, the pulsating Eng-Por quarterfinal is a highlight. The rest of the best (Eng-Fra, Por-Spa, Cze-Hol and the Ita-Bul+Swe-Den double-header) are also worth the money for this. Plus the Greek victory makes this an exciting and bizarre tournament, although their games are all pretty dull in comparison with others. I hope future tournament reviews use this template, as it is better than the 2002WC review, which went straight to the goals without introducing the games (so where's the excitement?)

If you like this sort of football video, buy this. Great action and great nostaliga (what pub were you Scotland fans in when Zidane and Ricardo ruined England's dreams?). Plus I won a 70/1 bet on Greece in the final so I have nothing but good memories of this tournament. Sorry England fans, but without a dramatic defeat it wouldn't have been the same. Roll on 2006!

5.0 out of 5 stars Pure Football - without the padding, 28 Jul 2004

The great thing about this DVD production is that you get what you actually want - you want brief highlights of each game, don't you, all the goals, slightly longer footage of the concluding matches.

So if you want a load of waffle, interviews, and gimmicks, don't buy this DVD. If on the other hand you want a fine record of what happened on the field at Euro 2004, it's the buy for you.

Enjoy!

5.0 out of 5 stars A great review of Euro 2004, 26 Aug 2004
By A Customer
I don't know about you but I thought Euro 2004 was a great tournament. France beating England in stoppage time, Sweden and Denmark drawing 2-2 the only result which would send Italy home, that breathtaking match 'Holland vs Czech Republic' and of course Greece winning the whole thing. And this dvd is (in my opinion) a pretty good review of the tournament. Here are my reasons why.

Firstly, its much much better than 'The official review of World Cup 2002' its doesn't do the silly idea of play the matches on day 1 first, then day 2 second. It does it group by group which is much better. Secondly, the time amount for each match is decent. For instance they sent more time on the important matches, unlike the dvd 'England's dream ticket' where they sent more time on friendies then qualifers. Thirdly, the tournament index on the dvd is better than any other football dvd, it doesn't do group stages, quarter finals, semi finals and then final. Its structured so you can watch any match of your choice.

As you can see its great compared to other football dvds. Good job. WELL DONE.
