Empire Earth 2 is a good strategy game. It is, as it's name suggests, the second of the series. It is basically the same game as Empire Earth 1. Since Empire Earth 1 was extremely fun, this is a good thing. But, the title was it WAS fun, not it is fun. When I first bought it, it was amazing. I created many spearmen, and told them to explore, and they soon found the opponent civilization. Then I started to attack and had a very hard time (it took 3 hours) to defeat the enemy. However, after a few times, I found that it was pretty ordinary, and very basic, as the entire game is about 'attack the enemy'. Basically the aim of the game it to eradicate the enemy. You can become more technologically advanced, but still the aim is to destroy the enemy. A good strategy is simply to attack anything that isn't yours. This gets repetitive after a while, and you really cannot play this game for long (unlike other games where you can choose whether to build a huge civilization with amazing treasures and wonders or choose to build a magnificent but strong army and civilization. The main storyline can get quite boring at times, especially when you have to keep destroying troops again and again. Graphics: The graphics are raher primitive. The zoom-in view gives you a good view of your troops, but it is useless, as you cannot command them in it. To command your troops you have to zoom out, where the graphics are dated. Also, there is no rotate button, meaning that you have to keep looking at your troops at one view, meaning that if you cannot reach a few troops, you have to keep scrolling along the screen. Empire Earth is a good game with a good main storyline, even if it can get repetitive at times. However, I only played and enjoyed it in the first few days.
