This is a good example of my definition of heavy. Not fast, just solid drumming with growly bass and roaring vocals. Then the guitars create a wall of dense sound. Excellent.

Stand out songs are Baboob Music which is a slow sludgy heavy song, Venus Complex with great singing and guitar parts, Godshaped War and Flight of the Pathogen have solid drums and interestingly melodic chorus lines. Overall this album is a heavy and in places groovy piece of work, more original than other acts out there at the moment.

This whole album is one huge slice of stunning. Twelve Tribes are just one of those bands that you're not sure about, then you listen to them, and they slap you in the face for being so stupid as to doubt them. Huge riffs, originality, and innovation like you're little ears have never had the pleasure of coming into contact with, comprehensively litter this album like pigeons in a park. The power every track has on this album oozes through the speakers and drapes itself onto your memory, preventing you from ever forgetting the beating you recived after listening to The Rebirth of Tragedy.

I just heard this band on a cd i was given and they are amazing, they have good vocals and lyrics, fantastic guitar riffs and awesome drumming !

The band are completly awesome for a up-coming new band and I hope these guys come over here and tour because i would love to see them !

If you like: A Blood Has Been Shed, Killswitch Engage, Every Time I Die, Eighteen Visions or Chimaira you should like this band !
