5.0 out of 5 stars Pokemon Leaf Green, better than the original?, 14 Oct 2004
Pokemon Leaf Green is a re-make of the original Pokemon game Pokemon Blue, but is it better than the older one? The answer is yes! Pokemon Leaf Green has better graphics, more modern Pokemon moves and better possibilities such as the mutiplayer room where you can trade Pokemon and battle out with your friends. Not to mention the free wireless adaptor that you get with the game. So your definitely getting your money's worth. Basically, you are a person (what they call a Pokemon Trainer) in the Pokemon World, formally known as Johto, and you are given a free Pokemon from your neighbour, Professor Oak. You have a choice between Charmander (fire), Squirtle (water) and Bulbasaur (leaf). Whichever one you pick, your rival, who is Oak's grandson picks the one most harmful to your Pokemon. So if you pick Charmander, he picks Squirtle because you are fire and he is water. The game unfolds and you find yourself in an amazing and fun adventure. This is a must have for any gamer. Get it (preferably from Amazon because it's cheaper than anywhere else)!

5.0 out of 5 stars A remake, but 10 times better, 20 Aug 2004
By A Customer
I got this game a couple of months ago off ebay and knew it was a remake of pokemon blue. Why was it called Leaf green and not Water Blue you may ask? This is because the Japanese title of pokemon blue was pokemon green. Now you may say "I already have pokemon blue/red/yellow why would I want a remake?" My answer would be because even though blue/red/yellow was out-of-this-world, this game is 10 times better. This games graphics are way better than the originals and there is even more to do. After you do Blaines gym you are asked if you would like to visit the mystery islands where Johto pokemon may appear...
This game can link up to pokemon Colluseum and pokemon Ruby/Sapphire.The link play is excellent and so you don't have to go to the shops to get a tangeld up link cable(which can be used) you get a wireless adaptor which uses infrared to link up. This is a must have game for everyone with a Gameboy advanced/SP.

4.0 out of 5 stars Wireless Linkup, 3 Oct 2004
First off, the game is great. It's got a lot more to it than just Pokemon Blue. More pokemon, new adventures, and great graphics and sound.

But one of the main reasons I bought this game was the Wireless Adapter. Someone said it was infrared- it's actually using radio waves, so you don't have to be directly facing each other. You can sit in the front seat of a car and play against someone in the back seat of the car without turning around and having to point your GameBoys at each other. This isn't like on the GameBoy Color where you had to lie them both on the table and not bump them in fear of disrupting the connection, you can actually use the adapter on the move! There's even a indicator to tell you how your reception is.

So, the game is great, but the wireless adapter makes it 10x more worthwhile to buy .
