Product Description

Manufacturer's Description

Ghost Master is an action-based resource management game set over several varied 3-D locations ranging from a haunted fraternity house, mansions, an amusement park, and campground.

By solving puzzles you learn new spells and master the skills to use them. Need an electric storm? Simple. A cloudburst of frogs? No problem. Try stretching the very fabric of space and time itself! You'll need to investigate some new spell classes, and pay a visit to Finance-o-Mancer (the official bank of the afterlife) for a plasma loan.

Remember, anything is possible in Ghost Master!

3.0 out of 5 stars Ghost Master for PS2, 9 Nov 2004
By A Customer
The original Ghost Master came out for PC last year and this new console one has been developed by a different company.
The missions have been redesigned and they're still fun and challenging, but the PC version was a lot more in depth. For example you can no longer pick your own team of ghosts, instead you're assigned certain ones for each mission. Also the ghosts now only have 2 powers each when in the original there were many more and you could also buy new powers.
The new version is still very original compared to other games out there and if you prefer to play on your PS2 then the console one is worth checking out, but I would definitely recommend you check out the PC version out of the two.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not worth the wait, 4 Nov 2004
Through one thing and another I've waited ages for this game to come out on PS2, and I was sadly disappointed. It's a shadow of the PC version. You can't choose your haunters for each mission, you know nothing about them, there's no gold plasm to teach them new powers, and there's not exactly an overwhelming number of missions. The powers themselves aren't that amazing, either, and you don't get a great selection...Unless you really, really want to frighten virtual sorority girls wearing PJs and towels, do yourself a favour and get the PC version instead.
