At first, when i listened to the album i wasn't sure that i would like it, but giving it some time, the album is quite good. Some of my favourite songs include, Bamboleo (Gypsy Kings), Guantanamo (Outlandish) and Oye Como va (Santana). But my list doesn't end here!! There are many songs on this album that are both brilliant and ear pleasing. I would recommend this album to anyone who is open to listening to such types of music.
Some songs are quite recent while others are much older, which for me was a downside to this album, and some may find that they like side B better than side A.
Still, a good album with a range of songs for everyone.

Both CDs start off with a half a dozen good tracks but on both discs a rapid deterioration sets in after that. Much of the second half in each case is almost unlistenable, with only the odd gem. There must be better compilations of this type out there somewhere. If you want "Latin summer grooves"-type music, look elsewhere.
