Now I should start off by saying there are some great shorts on this DVD such as the Rabbit of Seville. However, some I started watching and then stopped them part way through to see the next short because I just felt those were quite poor examples of a Bugs Bunny cartoon. Which is a huge shame. Because Bugs is a great character in the right short! So there are some major cartoons missed off here. Why isn't a Marvin the Martian short on this set? Or how about What's Opera Doc? And the added features aren't brilliant either.

Don't get me wrong. This set is very good value and some of the shorts are great but it's not the BEST of Bugs Bunny.....

Now that I have kids I have a good excuse to watch these classic cartoons again. A sign of great comedy writing is that it appeals to many levels and Bugs Bunny definitely does this. The dialogue is superb and hasn't aged a bit. The visual comedy is also excellent and fast paced. I can't recommend it enough.

What can be said about Bugs Bunny that hasn't been said 1000 times before? Nothing, so don't worry I'm not going to repeat any of it. What we have on this excellent DVD is 14 halirous cartoons made between 1941 (Wabbit Twouble) to 1953 (Bully for Bugs). Everyone knows Bugs Bunny cartoons and how funny they are so yuo know how many laughs you'll get from these cartoons.
There are a host of extra's on this DVD as well which include...
Audio commentary on nine episodes from voice actor Stan Freberg, and animation experts Michael Barrier and Greg Ford
Music programmes on 2 episodes
'Behind The Tunes - A Rabbit For All Seasons' featurette

Bought this on a whim, a sort of secret weapon for my nephews at Christmas if you like. They got a bit rowdy on Christmas eve so in it went a day early.

5 & 10 years old they just sat there for 1.5 hrs quietly watching it! EXCELLENT cost effective buy :o)

NB I also got the Porky Pig disc too but they got bored of that after about 30 mins

For us older kids, well, I thought it was great 30 years ago and I still do. Harmless Bugs gets up to his classic antics.

BEST OF BUGS BUNNY - It's Bugs, it's funny, it's got Elmer Fudd, Daffy Duck, The Rabbit of Seville but IT AIN'T GOT WOT'S OPERA DOC!! So if you want that one (which I did!) don't buy this one - bit of an Amazon error, considering when you search for that on their t'internet!

I'm 18, and I recently remembered how much I love Looney Tunes, so I bought this DVD.
I was not disappointed! It's got loads of great episodes, including one of my favourites, Rabbit Seasoning, and they're all excellent quality. The menu is clear and easy to use, and you can select which episodes you'd like to watch, rather than having to skip through them.

The product arrived very quickly, and in perfect condition (on one occasion, I bought a brand new DVD, only for it to arrive with the case broken due to poor packaging).

I'd definitely recommend this product, and I think it's excellent value for money :)

Not the best Bugs but nearly. I have rolled about the floor watching "hare seasoning" for as long as I can remember. It still hits the spot along with the others. What a pity Warner pulled the plug on it's English shops. I love all their characters and the cartoons and general artwork were the very best. Buy this and guffaw.
