Chikinki are a band whose time has come. Properly, refreshingly different pop music. This single's wicked and by the sounds of some of their recent gigs the new album's going to have some even more blinding material on it. Try out their first album (Experiment with Mother) too. The production values aren't great because it's a bit of a bedroom job, but the ideas are. A total headfreak of different styles but seriously, seriously catchy.

And that's the thing. Chikinki are clever, interesting and musically creative but they're also undeniably pop. A band with the biggest of smiles on it's face.

I've been a bit of a fanboy for years, so trust me- buy this single and pretend to all your mates that you were in to them at the beginning. They're going to be huge.
