Product Description

Amazon.co.uk Review
Like death and taxes, you can count on AC/DC. The Australian metal men, unlike the more daring likes of Metallica, have stuck with one virtually unchanged formula since 1973. While 1990s albums such as Who Made Who and Razor's Edge are uneven at best, the five-years-coming Stiff Upper Lip marks a return to the group's Back In Black prime. Muscular, meaty and powerful, Stiff Upper Lip boasts a dozen instantly hard and heavy classics full of macho bravado, double entendres and, of course, Angus Young's trademark guitar. From the archetypal title track to the more portentous "House Of Jazz" to the forceful, irresistible syncopation of "I Feel Safe In New York City", AC/DC are again at the top of their game. --Katherine Turman

4.0 out of 5 stars Good But Very Bluesy, 31 Jan 2005
If you're into blues guitar then buy this album, but if like me you like that classic ac/dc style songs then don't buy this album.
Songs like stiff upper lip do appeal, but you can't so easily remember the riffs the same way you do with songs like back in black. Sorry if i wine but it's my opinion.

5.0 out of 5 stars Stiff Upper Lip, 28 Nov 2002
This review is from: Stiff Upper Lip (Audio CD)
Without a doubt, the best AC/DC album of the Brian Johnson era. There are no fillers here, this is a classic from start to finish. Infused with energy, this record will put you on a high that lasts for hours.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Enough I Suppose, 30 Nov 2005
Being a huge fan of AC/DC, I suppose I am content with this offering by DC. There are 2 songs on here that are top quality: Hold Me Back and Can't Stand Still. Angus' guitar work on those two songs is amazing with Brian's vocals great as well.
The title track and Satellite Blues are other highlights, but on the whole it is an average album for AC/DC but a very good Rock Album!

4.0 out of 5 stars A re-discovery
