Incorporating a large 80Gb Hard Disc Drive and DVD-R/RW Recorder/ Player, the DV-HR300H offers the ultimate in recording and playback convenience for the home. The 120Gb HDD allows you to store over 100 Hours of high quality video footage, so you can keep up with all your favourite shows while away from home. Recordings can then be instantly replayed, edited, erased or if it's something you want to keep, archived onto a DVD - a High Speed Dubbing feature allows you to transfer from the HDD up to 12x faster than normal, that's 1 hour of footage in 5 minutes - wow. With Simultaneous Recording/ Playback, you can watch a DVD movie while recording the latest episode of Eastenders on the HDD, or vice versa - you can even record and playback on the HDD at the same time! Timeshift Recording/ Chasing Playback is also possible, which means you can pause live TV (especially useful if you have to answer the phone) and then start to playback from that point at a later time, the HDD records the back end of the show as you watch the front end. A front DV Input terminal also means you can record directly from a digital camcorder with little loss of quality and full camcorder control means its easy to use. A multi format player, Video CDs, MP3 encoded CD-R/RW's , CD-Audio and DVD+R/RW's, DVD-R/RW's can all be played back on the DVD, as well as DVD-Video discs.
