1.0 out of 5 stars so frustrating, 11 Mar 2006
By A Customer
I was one of the lucky one. Understand by this that I installed and started the game without any problem (believe me a lot of people weren't that lucky!). However my luck stops here. I had the first bug after about 30 seconds when I had to perform the first action (pick up the phone). The computer froze and the cursor disappeared. Game over for me. I read in many forums that this game is full of bugs so don't waste your time and money. Very frustrating.

3.0 out of 5 stars Wins no top prizes but not awful either, 28 Jan 2006
I quite enjoyed this game. I enjoyed it because it worked, because it did not look awful and because there weren't many other games out that I could have played instead. It is a bit 'by the book' gamewise. If you are a dedicated adventure gamer you will know what I mean by that. Worth buying and playing it second hand.

1.0 out of 5 stars Nice concept, Contrived and a waste of time, 4 Sep 2005
When I first started the game, it looked very promising. However, the game is so contrived. Everything has to be done in an exact linear order! For example, you find a telephone number in a letter and you go to your telephone and dial the it; the response - why would I want to dial that number?

You need to go to the inventory and click on the number! Well, what's the point in having a keypad on the 'phone then?

Give this one a miss. It's a shame, because we keep looking for good adventure games like the Seventh Guest and keep finding rubbish like thi.

2.0 out of 5 stars Timewarped!
I found this rather an odd game to be playing in the 21st century.
As soon as the game loaded, the distinctly pre-millenium graphics were an immediate disappointment... Read more

2.0 out of 5 stars Must try harder
Since I bought this game for 10p at a car boot, I really can't complain about it. And the game is quite slick in some ways. Read more

4.0 out of 5 stars Pretty good effort
Given the awful messes that were Moment of Silence and Broken Sword 3, this is quite commendable. True, it's no The Longest Journey, but it's enjoyabe and atmospheric... Read more
