DVD Description
England hadn’t yet won a Test Series in the West Indies for more than 35 years, so when Michael Vaughan led his side there in 2004, no-one could have expected such an emphatic victory, wrapping up the four Test Series with one to spare. While an experienced batting line-up provided the runs, it was England’s young quick bowlers who really made the cricketing world sit up and take notice, crushing the West Indies to devastating effect. After so many years of being blasted out by pace in the Caribbean, it was time for England to finally turn the tables!

This DVD tells the full story of all four matches: Harmison’s seven wickets to blow away the Windies in Jamaica, Simon Jones’ new ball burst in Trinidad and Hoggard’s hat-trick heroics in Barbados – before Lara’s world record breaking innings to steal back the headlines in Antigua. Capturing the unique atmosphere of cricket in the Caribbean, with added colour from England’s massive travelling support, this is the perfect souvenir of a series that will never be forgotten by cricket lovers around the world.

Having left England in 1990 for Australia this was a delight to watch.
The great thing for me was to see all the bowlers taking wickets,apart from Giles of course.I'm really hoping that these boys will go on from here and really improve and take the Ashes back from the Aussies.
To see the batsmen tough it out in all the games was also very heartening.There always seemed to be someone to step in and hold things together.
After growing up watching England pummelled by the West Indies,this DVD is a must for any England cricket fan.

Thsi video takes me back to watching in sheer disbelief as Harmison had finally got his line right and was running in filled with Agression, pace, bounce and accuracy. You hav no idea how pleasing this was for myself having witnessed Harmison on many occasins and noticing the something extra that the lad had.
Hoggard, the usual unsung hero of the England team was bowling his familiar wingers with grewat effect with the famous hatrick in the 3rd test en route to the series win and the 8 wicket victory.
Tough batting has been mentioned and yes this was true. Graham Thorpe showed the true class act that he really was, nasser hussai grinded out scores in his usual never sayu die attitude. Freddt showed his coming of age with both ball and bat (not to mention his unbelievable bear like hands at slip). The openers both chipped in well and Michael Vaughan captained the side superbly.

Do i need 2 say more? Thought Not. Buy It.

If you are used to the level of cricket coverage produced by Channel 4 you will probably find this offering from SKY dissappointing. There is no detailed analysis, no interesting camera angles and I personally find the commentary from Gower, Botham, Willis and Lloyd dull and uninspiring. It's a great performance from England though. It's just a shame that it's spoiled by a very underwhelming presentation.
