    Within 3 mins. I was taking pictures. This little camera has tons of features and fits in your trouser pocket! good price at £140ish should have come with a card though, they are cheap enough to include a small one as standard. Haven't printed any pics off yet but I don't doubt they will be OK, the new interface USB technology should make PC/camera file moving easier but will it be quicker? yet to find out.
    All in all I am very pleased with this littles beauty!

    Bought it because I needed at time digital camera, and with reliability and simplicity as main factors to decide. Since that I don't need digicam anymore, hopefully for next several years - I am almost 100% satisfied.
    Positive things: reliable as I wanted - never had any glitches and frozen software; simplicity of same level - my wife learned it in 15 minutes; good enough default colours in final JPEG image; target'n'shoot is almost ideal; time from power on to shoot is good; excellent price-to-performance-and-features ratio!
    Things might be annoying: don't forget switch off power after image transfer to PC, or find your batteries dried (or buy power adapter for that); sometimes colors problematic in artificial light.

    Bottom line - if you're not mad about megapixels and looking for reliability and simplicity then it is perfect choice.
