slightly put off by the first review, only because it said that there's a dub vibe to it, that threw me when I was listening to it coz there's no dub in sight at all! But once over that dissapointment, a very good album, and in fairness to the other reviewer there's a wide range of styles on there. From french street busking accordian (or organ?) to top notch reggae (war loard, lost in a jungle) and class party songs like 'musical terrorism' and 'sailors wife', to one of the best songs ever 'my friend'. Worth buying for this song alone! Enough rambling, a bloody good CD!

I saw this band at Womad music festival 2008. Their energy whilst performing live is fantastic and it's captured incredibly well on this CD. This band's sound is a mixture of ska/reggae/dub, sung in both French and English. Some of the tracks are fantastic feelgood, whilst a couple are more poignant. If you like Manu Chau you should own this album. Buy it, listen to it and then see them. That way they may tour some more in the UK! Fantastic.
