This is a real treat. A bunch of seriously excellent musicians decide to recreate the sounds and styles of mid 70s electric Miles Davies - somewhere around "Bitches Brew" - and do it so well it sounds seriously like a long lost album from the Master himself.

Wadada Leo Smith has the awsome responsibility of being Miles Davies but has the chops and taste to do it perfectly yet without pastiche. Lots of other fantastic names on the album - including the venerable Mike Keneally - ex of Frank Zappas band - there really there isn't a duffer amongst them. One more thing - this is an SACD recorded direct to DSD which is hifi nerd speak for saying if you have an SACD player - even a pretty bad one this will sound absolutely fantastic better in fact that any of the actual Miles Davies SACD remasters.
