5.0 out of 5 stars Includes cable, 5 Jun 2005
First off this game is really quite brilliant and amamazing fun in multiplayer especially with the mini eponas.
But I also thought it was important to make clear that the version of four swords amazon is selling DOES include a gameboy to gamcube link cable as they do not mention it anywhere in the information.
Just saying because there no point buying more cables than you need.
I hope this information is useful.

5.0 out of 5 stars Multi-Player Heaven!, 20 Jan 2005
This is one of the best Muiltiplayer experiances ever. Work as a team to get through the level and befeat the boss.

With its slick gameplay and great graphics, it really is one of the best games money can buy around now.

Using the GBA - Gamecube function it works really well. Like when you playing in a big game with your friends and you go into a dungeon, insted of it going split screen it appears on you GBA screen. Although this is a very BIG downfall of the game, as to play four player, you will need four GBA's, alot like Final Fantasy: Cyrstal Chronicals. So this makes the game very very pricey.

It does lack in Single player mode though, no where near as good as the multi-player. You must controll all four links at the same time, and guid them through the level alot like the multi-player version but not as fun.

So heres the end rating:

Graphics: 9/10.

Gameplay: 10/10

Life: 10/10 if you play multi, 7/10 on single.

Overall: 9/10

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent game - shame aboot the multiplayer..., 20 Aug 2004
By A Customer
O.K first of all I'm going to say if you hate 2D games you definately won't like this. If you're sane you will.
This is the latest Gamecube Zelda game, and despite the simple graphics it's amazing fun. The old skool style graphics should please fans of the old SNES and Gameboy Zelda games, but the explosions and other lighting effects have been given a wind waker style make-over. I personally didn't like Wind waker, but the cartoony style graphics really fit here. You'll find yourself battling against hordes of enemies at the same time, but you'll have 4 Links to make things a bit easier. There's sections where you must go into the GBA to solve puzzles, which gives the game an interesting twist, and makes it slightly more challenging. Thankfully for everyone who doesn't own a GBA you don't actually need one for the single player game. However the big dissapointment with this game is that if you want to play it in multiplayer you need as many GBAs and GBA-GC link cables as you have people. I don't see why Nintendo object to people using controllers!
But overall this is an excellent game, which would have gotten 5 stars, if it wasn't for the stupid GBA multiplayer.
