The KiSS DP-1504 DVD player is based on the Slim Line DivX Compatible DVD Player KiSS DP-1500 with its built-in Ethernet Port and its PC Card Slot. These features enable the player, if connected to a Broadband Internet Connection, to read Audio/Video/Picture content straight from a PC with the KiSS PC-Link Software as well as playing Internet Radio Stations with WebRadio. WebRadio, with its friendly interface provides the user with a several thousands radio stations to choose from.The PC Card Slot placed at the back of the player, also adds a new feature: Wireless Connection. No more Ethernet cables in the way, thanks to a simple setup on the player. Having a hard Disk on the player enables the user to store Audio/Video/Picture content on the DVD Player. The KiSS DP-1504 player also comes complete with the standard CD/MP3, Ogg Vorbis, DivX, XviD, Jpeg, CD-RW and DVD+-RW playback.

    this is by far the best dvd player i've ever had, it plays divx and Xvid at dvd quality, and with the 40Gb harddrive you can store your favourite Pictures, Video or Music files from PC oe Disk.

    also with a little nouse (don't see above) you can connect the player to your pc via a wireless PC Card or even simpler via an Ethernet RJ45 cross-over Cable

    it is also very compact.

    Don't buy this useless product.It's wi-fi card doesnot work, no way you can make it to connect wirelessly to a computer or laptop.It's software is tricky and unworkable.I tryed repeatedly to connect it to Pc and laptops but it always fails.As it can't find and sense other copmuter it becomes unusable and then you can't store any thing on it's hard drive.

    This player work like a charm. Plays Divx, Xvid, ogg etc w/o problems. Data transfer works nice (please avoid WiFi b, has some problems), 40 gb is more than enough for a good move/picture/music collection, if not theres always ur pc.

    WiFi g card to my router: excellent
    Wifi g card to my usb access point: excellent but needed a driver update, not the players fault.
    Ethernet cable to my router: excellent
    Cross-over cable to my pc: excellent with simple LAN settings.

    As a respone to the "A electronics & photo fan" review, please laugh at him as he obviously doesn't know anthing about networking.

    Features for audio playback could have been better but then I use something else for my music so my player needs have been fufilled.

    Oh and more buttons on the player with an off option would have been nice.
