5.0 out of 5 stars Romance and Heartbreak from pop music's Garbo., 30 Mar 2004
By Steven Jones "Pintofcider" (Ontario) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
Abba's Agnetha Faltskog remakes a forgotten 60's gem to cinematic effect. The garbo-esque queen of heartbreak ends her 17 year silence with a timeless ballad a million miles away from today's disposable musak. Her voice is crystalline, at times fragile, but her ability to pull at the heartstrings is second to none. The orchestral soundscape is nostalgic, resonant of the 60s and all those cool black and white movies! The tone is innocent and aches with yearning. It's melancholy and romantic, a little lost in today's electronic world. Like the lady herself, perhaps!

5.0 out of 5 stars FRAGILE, HONEST, BEAUTIFUL!, 29 Mar 2004
By A Customer
A melancholic, romantic, retro song from the 60's, yet current sounding. Delicate, fragile, expressive and delicious. Her voice is like no other.

5.0 out of 5 stars Haunting colours from the romantic heart of Sweden, 26 Mar 2004
By A Customer
Agnetha remakes a lost 60's gem to cinematic effect. This is a timeless song confirming that ABBA's Garbo-esque bombshell still has what it takes to pull at the heartstrings. Her voice is delicate, melancholy and fragile. The orchestral setting and moody piano make for a filmic soundscape recalling the best of the 60's heartbreakers. The Swedish lilt adds to the overall charm of the track. It's windswept, melancholy and achingly beautiful - much like the lady herself!
