5.0 out of 5 stars If you love the film, you'll love this........, 9 May 2004
By A Customer
This album captures the essence of the late seventies, early eighties perfectly. Listening the album you feel as if you are watching the film. Unlike some soundtracks, this has all the songs you recognise from key parts of the film which is good because there is nothing more annoying than when a soundtrack misses the best songs of the film. In particular, Drift Away by Dobie Gray is fantastic, I have been listening to it over and over again. Even if you haven't seen the film, if you want to experience the music of seventies west coast America, this is it. And if you thought Val Kilmer was just an actor....
