Following on from 2001's 'White Boy With A Feather', the Maryland born experimental folk artist's second album furthersthe range of genres which he straddles. As on his debut he manages to mix folk, country and a dash of hip-hop into the blend, but on 'The Spin' he also manages to introduce modernelectronica via drum loops and beats. The album is brought together by Jason's strong narrative style as he takes the listener through stories of his thoughts and travels.
