This is a wonderful set which is an ideal complement to a Brio circuit. My son, who is 2 and a half, finds it much easier to make new circuit out of the large roads and bridge of the Plan Toys set, than with his Brio trains, for which I am often obliged to help him, especially with slopes, as the narrower railtracks fall more easily from support than the larger roads here.

Cannot praise this set and the range it comes from enough. My two year old can assemble it without getting frustrated. The extensive range of accessories means it never gets boring for either child or parent. Excellent for encouraging imaginitive play. The number of permutations with this set alone is not huge if you want to use all the pieces and you will undoubtably end up buying the extension set. The fact that it integrates with the many makes of wooden track mean you need a vast floor space!
