As Hip-Hop seems to have well and truly sold out, with the likes of D12, G Unit and Chingy producing radio friendly, plastic sounding, sing-along pop music it is great to see the return of LAs finest The Dilated Peoples. From the start to finish its PURE Hip-Hop, the beats are innovative and slickly produced, the rhymes are creative, challenging and fresh. There is no sign of Hip-Hop cliche's, no mention of guns, champagne, or Range-Rovers. Even the Kanye West produced single 'Walk This Way' stays true to The Dilated Peoples sound. This album won't sell as many as Eminem, or 50 cent, but its credibility is WAY higher, appealing to hardcore Hip-Hop heads and people who have never bought a rap cd. This is what real Hip-Hop sounds like!! The Underground Kings return!!!

This album is top notch for all you Hip Hop people who like Hip Hop music with a difference. This Way, Poisonous, and Marathon are the best tracks on the album and are very addictive! They are not well recognised but they're new single is going to be huge - This Way feat Kanye West. Get it brought :) :) :)

let me start by saying that a few weeks ago i thought all hip-hop was about was b****** and nike shoes, then one of my dearest friends lent me the albums that changed my life, this was one of them. the laid back grooves and raw talent this group posesses is almost unrivaled in the rap world and this album is a step up from the platform where it all began. keep up the good work chaps! if there was any justice in the world it would be dilated peoples the roots and jurassic 5 at the top of the charts.
