All I can say about this album is.... AMAZING, A PIECE OF GENIOUS! Track 3 is my favourite. The beats, lyrics... everything on this album gives you the feel of New Yorks atmosphere and leaves you hooked and gagging for more. It has a selection of VERY talented musicians which is AN even bigger advantage... rather than some albums just using mainstream names so people will want to buy the album for all the wrong reasons.
The best out of all the albums released in the collection... A must buy
Go on.... add it to your shopping cart..... I know you want too :o)

Third CD in the series that gives an introduction to the finest soul of Detroit , Philly , and now New York . This volume is perhaps the best of the lot! From the first few notes of Fire Department's 'track19' any soul lovers will immediately know that they are in for a real treat . The quality shines all through with Cools Hot Box , McKay , Pete Rock and more purveyors of modern soul at its best . It's a shame that a new or previously unreleased Angie Stone track couldn't have been included instead of the excellent but familiar 'Brotha' , but any criticisms pale into insignificance in regard to this collection's gorgeous quality . Take a bite of the Big Apple and get some sunshine soul in your life
