This was so in advance of its times. Listening to this in 2008 and thinking most of those tunes were recorded in the early 80s makes you rethink your priorities.

You clearly can hear where bands like David Byrne's Talking Heads came from, except this band are simply better because less limited to simple pop songs format. Worth alone for their use of percussions and many influences.

The liner notes are very complete and informative and as usual Soul Jazz come up trumps on yet another perfect offering. Essential listening to anyone into Sun Ra via Fela and Artur Russell.
