'13 In My 31' is the debut album from Welsh indie punk outfit My Red Cell. A noisy mix of raucous guitars and snarling vocals, the band have been likened to the early work of fellow Welsh boys Manic Street Preachers. The singles 'Knock Me Down' and 'In A Cage (On Prozac)' are also included.

I stumbled across this albumn after I heard the track 'whisper the fear' played on a BBC wales radio station and from then on I was hooked. I duely went out and bought this albumn and was blown away.From start to finish is an absolute rock and roll rampaged the most complete raw talent I have heard in years. I realy cannot rate it highly enough go buy it now My red cell should be and I hope the new big band to come out of wales. If I had to compare I would say it's very reminisent of Nirvana's bleach albumn...nuff said

Hailing from my hometown Barry and with two EP's under their belt, My Red Cell are ever progressing to become a significant UK band. With this debut album they put themselves up there with the best and at such an early age.
The album starts with new single In a Cage (on Prozac). Russell's powerful vocals combined with Adam's softer backup vocals set the scene for the whole album. In earlier releases, Russell's vocals were all that could be heard but MRC have made a great step letting Adam join in the singing role.
The third track on the album Bullet, ventures back to the days when they were known as Babylose, now re-made with better lyrics yet it still manages to be the same powerful song. Four tracks off the album are from the original EP releases but altered a touch, giving fans that could not purchase the limited edition EP's a chance to own the tracks for real.
Anyone who is an original fan of My Red Cell will definitely be pleased with this great album as I'm sure the lads from the band are.
They will definitely be gaining new fans and with the new song receiving great airtime, My Red Cell will be around for many years to come
