the history of england ...in very brief clips, 19 Jun 2004
the great euro 2004 'cash in' begins in dvd form with ' the history of england ' a visual trip through england's past glorious , ( and not so glorious ) 'football team . As you get further into viewing , your suspicions of this dvd are raised from the endless cheesy music that adorn's so many budget priced poor quality sport's video's of the past , although there are plenty of interview clips of various players and mangers alike , the actual football clips are far to brief , at times cut right down to just quick clips of the goals , england versus holland in euro 96 being just one of the many to suffer this ' quick clip' fate . Although in all it's not a bad representaion of england's past, the dvd is vastly over priced for the content , there are no extra's , so fans should keep there fingers crossed and hope the bbc decide to release there ' three lion's , the story of england ' series that was aired on television a few years ago on dvd in the near future .

1 Lion and 2 much missing, 25 April 2004
Simply a quick cash for Euro 2004. This dvd is a waste of time and moneyas it doesn't show hardly any action. All you get is a couple of clipsfrom each major tournament sprinkeld with repeated interviews, howeverthere are a few new interviews with Hodddle and Keegan etc. Unfortunatelyas the opening statements say - England is a world brand and is bigbusiness. This dvd certainly expolits this and proves that the nationalteam and 3 lions means money. If the BBC's brilliant 3 lions narratted byJames Bolam ever gets realeased buy it. That's the way it should be done.
