For a tradesmen, a good toolbox is an essential item.

When your cheapo toolbox bursts open while you're crossing the road and you're left desperately reclaiming your spanner before that Juggernault introduces you and it to the tarmac - you do stop to think, why don't i just buy a decent toolbox?

And that's exactly what you've got in the Stanley Jumbo Organiser Top Toolbox - a decent box for a very decent price. It's deceptively large - big enough to put a drill or two in without breaking your shoulder or looking like you're carting around your entire workshop.

Very impressive are the two indiscreet clips that close the box. Often just one is enough to keep it shut which is handy when you've over-packed shoddily.

The only negative is that the exterior, a kind of rough plastic, traps dirt and needs a damp cloth to get the marks off. But when has a tradesmen ever cared about being clean and tired?

Walk past the supermarket branded toolbox (i know it's hard) and buy the Stanley - it won't disappoint.

I brought this toolbox thinking WOW CHECK THIS OUT! What a bargain and ITS STANLEY! Must be value for money! In the first week it starting catching and bending on the inside and had to stick a nail in the stupid plastic hinge thing that opens it out just to open it. Then the compartments on top kept falling out because the plastic securing things broke on EACH SIDE so I could not use them. This would benefit a DIY home person but not a tradesman it is NOT durable and IS PLASTIC so you get yourself a proper toolbox if you are tradesman and not this one.

We had this Stanley toolbox for about a year before it started to collapse. The internal plastic hinges pop apart and so render the trays useless. A year later I am looking to buy my husband ANOTHER tool box for his birthday - lucky guy!
