The Karcher K499M Deluxe is a mid domestic fully mobile designed pressure washer

It is very competitively priced for a large unit has full accessory storage, a large handle, maximum pressure of 130 bar and a water flow rate of 400 litres per hour to easily deal with obstinate dirt and stains. The unit provides high pressure for powerful cleaning and low pressure for rinsing or gentle-action cleaning and applying cleaning chemicals. The chemical injector enables detergent or shampoo to be picked up from a separate container and applied in the low pressure mode, e.g. for the car washing.

Accessories offer further benefits.

The Dirtblaster lance, combines the power of the solid pencil jet with the area coverage of a fanjet, achieves excellent results in no time. The Variable spray lance provides high to low pressure with a simple twist. A rotary wash brush is also included to agitate stubborn dirt from your vehicle/home. A box of 10 clean tabs is also included giving 5ltrs of cleaning chemical. The features of this machine along with its accessories put it head and shoulders above the competition perfect for all domestic cleaning tasks.

I bought the Karcher K4.99M pressure washer to clean filthy coping stones round my swimming pool and to clean the algae infested patio slabs around it. The pressure washer completely exceeded my expectations by cleaning the area evenly, quickly and efficiently! The power is incredible for a 120bar machine (the Amazon listing states 130bar but this is wrong). I was contemplating buying a bigger more expensive washer, but I'm glad I didn't now because this was powerful enough. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I bought this washer just over two years ago and have used it for occasional domestic use ie house, car washing etc. While it worked, I had no complaints about the washer, it did what I expected, no more, no less.
It has now developed a leak on the water pump so that the water squirts out the pump rather than through the nozzle, making the machine useless. I made an e-mail complaint to Karcher but did not get the courtesy of a reply or even an acknowlegement. At worst, I had hoped for advice on whether a repair was feasible.
On the basis of my experience of poor reliability and customer service, I would not recommend this washer or any Karcher product.

I purchased this item with one job in-mind - cleaning a large patio area, I was stunned by the power of the unit to the extent that you can literally see the dirt being blasted from the surface.

This model made light work of this job and now I'm cleaning a whole range of other stuff around the house.
