Brought this for my wife who is a HUGE Snoopy fan, and she lovesit!
It's a simple a DVD - no real extras (unless you count the bit thattells you to go to Snoopy.com).
Two cartoons on here, the one where Snoopy prances around being theEaster-Beagle and tries to sort out Woodstock with a decent birdhouse.
The second cartoon sees Snoopy running away with the circus and performingtricks on the unicycle and swinging on the high wire to impress aperforming poodle, but it gets all too much for poor Snoop when he'sforced into taking a bath that turns him pink.
Classic Peanuts - I onlyhope they release more DVDs with Snoopy Come Home for instance. The soundis clear and presented in stereo, and the colours clear as you wouldexpect from a DVD.
Only two criticisms one is that the theme music isn't there (which I quitelike myself) - it just goes straight into the cartoon. The other is thatthey could have probably fit more onto the DVD, another cartoon or two orperhaps some more features - cartoon strips or perhaps a mini feature onthe great animator himself.
Overall though a must have for Snoopy fans- and a good cartoon for those whom may not have had any experience withthat cute Beagle and want something that the kids can watch that shouldn'tgive parents a headache - at least compared to modern cartoons likePokemon. Pretty safe entertainment for the family from kids through tograndparents.
Buy it so perhaps they'll release some more on DVD!

The peanuts gang are up to their usual mischief in preparation for Easter Sunday, but no one seems to be listening to Linus. He swears that the Easter Beagle will come and make the celebrations complete. Typically no one listens to him, he is little bit 'Ralph Wiggum' remember.

Though Snoopy ends up being that very Beagle, he's far too busy trying to help out Woodstock. The poor little bird is freezing in his cruddy little nest full of cold water. So Snoopy goes off to the mall (already advertising Xmas goodies!) to buy him a bird house. With hilarious results.

After much hijinks and endless trips to the mall for eggs (Marcie keeps smashing them as she doesn't know how to do egg-painting) Snoopy saves the day and proves Linus right after all. Sigh! They don't make 'em like this anymore. I'll take Snoopy over Spongebob any day.

I did review 'Life is a Circus, Charlie Brown' but the IMDB deleted it for no reason so I cannot paste it here.

The DVD is in 1.33:1 full frame, as drawn, with Dolby Mono sound.

My three year old son really enjoyed this and i enjoyed watching it again as an adult. It just goes to show that a timeless classic will never age
