    I bought this product to use with my Netgear DG824M 11Mbps ADSL modem/router, the setup through the Netgear software from the provided Resource CD was painless and took only a few minutes. The range and connection is fantastic and always shows 100%. The encryption settings are straight forward to use. I can highly recommend this product to anyone that want a simple home/small office network set up and is or isn’t experienced in setting up networks.

    It is a very stylish device. Having got the drivers installed as instructed, it starts working within seconds after I plugged it to the USB port of my daughter's PC (a old P2 model). My wireless router is also a Netgear one and is located one floor above. The signal is strong and stable. Highly recommended.

    There's almost always at least one review for each piece of hardware on amazon with some kind of horror story about how it made someone's computer crash and ruined their lives and so on, and I tend to ignore these if there are enough positive reviews. However, I now wish I'd paid attention to one review of the WG121 on amazon.com as I've had exactly the same problem.

    The unit appeared to be working fine, great in fact, until after a couple of days my computer would start to freeze up at random times. Nothing in particular had stopped working, every program was functioning as normal, but sooner or later the computer would just lock up. This is apparently a problem with the AMD chipset (see the www.broadbandreport.com forums for some more info), and as Netgear don't appear to be addressing the problem (their technical support is rubbish) it doesn't look like there'll be any kind of fix for this problem.

    DO NOT get this product if you have an AMD system. However, on a pentium computer it seems to work fine.
