HEPA Filtration

This type of filtration is the kind used in submarines and hospitals where clean air is needed most. HEPA stands for High Efficiency Particulate Air. To meet the criteria of a HEPA air cleaner, the filter must remove airborne particulate as small as 0.3 microns from the air that passes through the filter. There are three types of HEPA filters: 99%, 99.97% and 99.999%.

Quiet Operation

Our air cleaners utilize a specially designed airflow system including the blade, motor and filter to help operate quietly on any speed. Our products achieve a high level of filtration and limit the noise generated by the product. Ionization. Our models feature an independent ionizer which means you can turn the ionizer on or off whether the air cleaner is running or not. The ionizer releases negative ions into the air which join with positively charged particles such as smoke, dust or pollen to form larger particles that are more readily captured by the HEPA filter. This helps to keep your home cleaner without all the hard work!

Filter Change Indicator

Most of our models have a filter change indicator that lets you know when the filter needs to be replaced. The indicator is easy to see it is located on the control panel and lights up when it's time for a new filter. It takes the guesswork out of filter replacement.

All of our air cleaners feature Microban Antimicrobial Product Protection that preserves the HEPA filter against odor causing bacteria. This can actually help to extend the life of the HEPA filter.

AHAM Certification

AHAM, the Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers, independently tests and rates air cleaning products based on the clean air deliver rate (CADR) or the amount of particulate that is filtered by the appliance. This helps to identify the efficiency of the products by room size so that you can make sure you are purchasing an air cleaner that will suit your home needs. All of our products are AHAM certified indicated with the AHAM seal and CADR rating.
