Whether my words may be seen as a bias or just the opinions of a fanatical- i think, given a voice of its own, this song would scream at you "i am the epitome of good taste!" I cannot find a fault on this beautiful single and it seems that Breed 77 have gone from strength to strength. If you thought "...Ultima Hora" was a mini masterpiece and musical feat then "The River" is sure to strenghten youre view and at times blow you away. Breed 77 have an unrivaled mastery at blending eerie melodies with hard hitting groove riffs and still manage to incoporate the ever popular "latino-esque" stylings into their work- Trully a band to watch out for- this single will push this band into the mega-leagues of the music industry- well done guys =)

I agree The River is just class, it really is one of the best songs this year so far. Its rock that gets you a bit emotional (it does to me anyway). If you haven't listened to it go onto the the TV music channels and request it...NOW! Then buy the damn thing! Although this is the only Breed 77 track I have listened I'm definately going to buy their new album too. Hopefully the tracks on their will be at the same standard of The River, but maybe thats asking a lot!

This song is gonna be big seriousley it is sumething speical its easiley there best song yet by far nothing else comes close, this is for me the best EVER song of the new millenium it amazing you have to hear it to know how good it really it, by listening to this you realise how much potential this band really have and i am guessing the song will be played on the radio a lot nearer to its realease hopsfully will get in the charts at a respectful number this time
