Product Description

Manufacturer's Description

Blood Will Tell is a modern-day action epic for the PS2, adapted from the classic manga tale by Osamu Tezuka (the creator of Astro Boy).

Like the original manga the game follows the adventures of Hyakkimaru, a tortured samurai on a quest to uncover his past and regain his humanity. As a newborn baby he was robbed of every limb, organ and even his flesh, his humanity replaced with a myriad of ways to deal out death.

Players can choose to do battle with various weapons, such as blades embedded inside Hyakkimaru's arms, a bazooka hidden in his leg, or weapons found during the course of the adventure.

At every step of the way Hyakkimaru's friend Dororo will be there to help, guide and fight alongside him.

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant *****, 11 Mar 2006
A Brilliant game, well worth the money. An effective mix of co-operative gameplay, tactics, and fighting. Beautiful to the eye, this game features asthetic in game play and visual eye candy for the movie-like cut scenes.
A relatively challenging game to those who may be new to the genre although to those who are fond of this kind of game it will come as not surprise.
The added companionship of "Dororo" is an amusing addition and give the game added originality.
You will also find yourself learning alot about Japanese culture in this game, which I thought was an added bonus and the english voices are well done and don't detract from the overall game.
Its a wonderful addition to any gamer's self, whether a lover of RPGs, Tactics or hack em ups.
What are you waiting for? ^_^

5.0 out of 5 stars Most stupid game ever invented....LOVE IT!!, 5 Oct 2008
Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
Ok. So his body parts and organs are stolen by fiends. When hes born. When hes 3, the guy who found him in the river builds him a body. Which he mods later in his life to include sword arms, a machine gun elbow and a Bazooka knee. And to that the weird kid he picks up along the way who can be independently controlled AND NEVER DIES!!! Pure genius. A really fun, though quite taxing game.
Honestly, I bought it as a joke with a gaming buddy as we needed a 2 player game. And we got hooked. Story line is patchy and kinda stupid but the game is great for light hearted fun. And its 2 player without a split screen.
Ammo for the leg cannon and arm gun is limited which can get taxing later on and some of the Bosses are nails but buy it.
Let 'Limbless Man' (as we renamed it) into your life......you really won't regret it!
