Product Description

The Battle of Britain is a World War II flight-simulation game from the developers of the IL-2 Sturmovik franchise. The Battle of Britain is packed with even more historical realism, and will utilise a new engine, a dynamic campaign system and new weather effects. The game takes place in 1940 during the infamous "Battle of Britain" between England, Germany and Italy and it will allow players to fly for the British, German or Italian air forces.

This is false advertising. The aircraft in the image is taken from Ubisofts earlier series IL2 Sturmovik and was not an aircraft that will feature in Battle of Britain.

Do not order this game hoping you will get it in two weeks. I will buy this game as it will undoubtedky be a superb flight sim but it is not ready for release and I say you would be lucky to have this game by Christmas if you placed an order now.

Agreed...The IL2 franchise is pretty good.
Aircraft look nice, lots of missions..Scenery is seriously boring. (Russian Steppes dont do it for me)

Most of the aircraft/skins needed for the Battle of Britain are already available in earlier releases (Aces Expansion etc) and BoB skins are available for free download.
So, Unless the developers vastly improve the scenery...I shall not bother with it.
