4.0 out of 5 stars The 2 most important songs are missing, 21 Jul 2004
By Cloud (Oxfordshire, Great Britain) - See all my reviews
I was really keen to buy this album, but after discovering that the Beach Boys song "Wouldn't it be nice" AND the song "Somewhere over the rainbow" are missing, I changed my mind.
For everybody who is looking for this version of "Somewhere over the rainbow": It is by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole, a quite popular Hawaiian singer and for example on his album "Facing Future".

4.0 out of 5 stars 50 First Dates, 10 Dec 2004
By A Customer
Although 'Wouldn't It Be Nice' - Beach Boys and 'Somewhere Over The Rainbow' are missing, it is not a bad album. It's worth the money for 'Every Breath You Take' by UB40, a gorgeous and smooth track that fans of 'Swing Low' will evevitably enjoy.

Ziggy Marley's 'Drive' is another gem, which any Bob Marley fan would love. It's chilled out and perfect with the film in mind.

It's a good album, but they could have done better. However if you liked the film, you'll like the CD.

2.0 out of 5 stars Where is the best song?, 21 April 2004
By A Customer
This CD fits well with the lighthearted tone of the film, however i haveone MAJOR problem. Where is 'Somewhere Over The Rainbow' that is played atthe end of the movie. This is a beautiful song and many people mayreconise it from ER, in the episode entitled 'On The Beach' in Series 8,the episode where Dr. Greene dies. For this reason I found the end of thefilm highly emotional as it brought back memories of this episode of ERand i was very dissapointed that it was not included :(
